Celebrating Our Community Heroes: Sunday Salutes Returns in 2026
We're delighted to announce that our Sunday Salutes recognition programme is returning for a new season, beginning in the New Year. Starting January 11th, we'll be dedicating each Sunday during winter to honouring the remarkable individuals who keep our South West communities thriving.
What Are Sunday Salutes?
Sunday Salutes is our way of saying thank you to the diverse range of professionals, volunteers, and community contributors who make a difference every single day. From healthcare workers and educators to youth coaches and environmental volunteers, these events celebrate the dedication and commitment that strengthens our neighbourhoods.
The 2026 Schedule
Our new round of Sunday Salutes will run from January 11th until March 1st, 2026, featuring a carefully curated selection of community groups each week. Whether you work in emergency services, volunteer at a local charity, support young people through coaching or mentoring, or contribute to community wellbeing in any capacity, there's a Sunday dedicated to recognising your efforts.

Why Recognition Matters
Every person who dedicates their time, skills, and energy to supporting others deserves to be seen and appreciated. Sunday Salutes creates a moment to pause, reflect, and express our collective gratitude for those who often work behind the scenes, ensuring our communities remain strong, healthy, and connected.
Here's to celebrating the people who make our communities extraordinary.
