A frozen treat for four feet
Doggy Doggy Yum Yum is an Award-winning, dog-safe ice cream made in Dorset by the team behind Baboo Gelato.
It was born out of a simple frustration. Annie, our co-founder and a passionate dog lover, kept seeing her customers buying gelato for their dogs at our kiosks. She knew she could make something better, designed specifically for canine tummies.
Inspired by her flat-coated retriever Dasha, Annie set about creating a frozen treat that wouldn't compromise on ingredients just because it was for dogs. After months of recipe testing (and a lot of very happy taste-testers), Doggy Doggy Yum Yum was born.
Today it's made in our purpose-built dairy in Rampisham, Dorset — by the same team that makes our award-winning gelato for humans.

Ten out of ten, would beg again
★★★★★
'I have begged for many things. Most of them I didn't even want — it's the principle. This I wanted. This I needed. I begged with my whole heart and it WORKED.'
— Daisy, Dalmatian, professional beggar
I would do tricks for this

Finally, a brand that respects me
★★★★★
'I have refused food before. Lamb. Salmon. An entire roast chicken left unattended (a long story). But this? This I did not refuse. I inhaled it and then stared at the empty pot for forty minutes in case it reappeared.'
— Bertie, Dachshund, food critic

Frequently asked questions
Can dogs eat gelato?
Most human ice cream and gelato is made with dairy, which dogs find hard to digest, and often contains sugars and ingredients that aren't dog-safe. Doggy Doggy Yum Yum is specifically formulated for dogs — dairy-free, no refined sugars, and made only with ingredients that are safe and beneficial for canine tummies.
Is Doggy Doggy Yum Yum safe for all dogs?
Yes — Doggy Doggy Yum Yum is made with 100% natural, dog-safe ingredients and contains no artificial flavours, refined sugars, gums or emulsifiers. It's dairy-free (we use coconut milk) and suitable for vegetarian and vegan dogs. As with any treat, introduce slowly and supervise your dog while they enjoy it.
Is the peanut butter xylitol-free?
Absolutely. Xylitol is highly toxic to dogs and we'd never use it. Our peanut butter is 100% pure peanut butter — that's it.
How should I serve Doggy Doggy Yum Yum?
Straight from the freezer for a hot summer day, or let it soften for a couple of minutes for a creamier texture. There's a wooden spoon in the lid so you can serve it anywhere. Always supervise your dog with frozen treats and keep them in the shade on warm days.
Where can I buy Doggy Doggy Yum Yum?
