Every month, Annie creates a special gelato flavour for home delivery in 500ml tubs—something unexpected, something exceptional. These limited-edition creations, lovingly known as Annie’s Specials, are handcrafted in tiny batches in the Baboo Lab— and then offered exclusively for home delivery. When we say limited edition gelato, we mean it: once it’s gone, it’s gone!
How It Works
- Launch Time: Every third Tuesday of the month at 10 am, a new flavour drops. (Except during the summer!)

Rhubarb & Custard Gelato
Rhubarb & custard gelato, made with the pinkest, tenderest forced rhubarb from the infamous Yorkshire rhubarb triangle. This egg custard gelato is lightly flavoured with Madagascan vanilla, and swirled with the pinkest rhubarb coulis.

Jaffa Cake Gelato
Is it a cake? Is it a biscuit? Who cares when it tastes this good! Our Jaffa cake gelato is made with real Jaffa Cakes, blending rich chocolate, zesty orange, and soft sponge into a smooth, creamy gelato.

Dubai-Style Chocolate Gelato
Yes, we hopped on the bandwagon—because how could we not? Our take on “Dubai-style” chocolate gelato. Rich chocolate gelato studded with white chocolate flavoured with real pistachio paste, and given that extra crunch from Kataifi pastry.

S'Mores gelato
When the days are shorter and the nights are darker, it is time to sit by a crackling wood fire and treat yourself to some S'mores! This gelato is made with organic milk, dark Belgian chocolate-covered digestive biscuits and lots of marshmallows!

Gingerbread Gelato
Winter wonderland in ice cream! We make gingerbread to a recipe loved by Annie’s children, with lots of ginger, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper and nutmeg. We then blend this into the ice cream base, to produce a Christmassy spiced gelato, like a festive hug in a scoop.

After Dinner Mint Gelato
A deep, velvety chocolate gelato, made with the best Valrhona chocolate, with a hint of peppermint. Going through this is a crunchy dark chocolate stracciatella to contrast with the perfect smoothness of the gelato.

Honeycomb
We take honeycomb and blend it into the ice cream mix to infuse it with flavour, and then fold chunks of honeycomb through the frozen gelato, giving you a very satisfying crunch against the velvety smooth ice cream.

Plump sour cherries, buttery crunchy crumble, almondy citrussy cake, vanillary custard, all in one scoop.

Peanut choc gelato
Handcrafted with pure peanut butter and the finest dark Belgian chocolate, this gelato is rich, smooth, and utterly moreish. It’s no wonder our Peanut choc gelato was awarded 2 stars at the Great Taste Awards and a Taste of the West Commendation in 2018.

Spooky road gelato
A swirl of white chocolate (turned wickedly green with Spirulina — a natural superfood packed with goodness ), rippled with zingy raspberry coulis, sprinkled with fluffy marshmallows and a crackle of popping candy. It’s crunchy, creamy, and bursting with fun in every bite.

Vietnamese cinnamon gelato
Unlike regular cinnamon, Vietnamese cinnamon has a warm, complex spiciness with a natural sweetness that makes it truly special. We've folded it into our smooth, creamy gelato base to create something utterly comforting.

Sugar Plum Fairy gelato
Tangy damson coulis (from fruit hand-picked by our local community each August), silky cream gelato, and crushed Amaretti biscuits for that irresistible crunch. The result? A sophisticated balance of tart fruit, velvety cream, and delicate almond notes that captures the magic of the season.

Toast and marmalade gelato
Our toast and marmalade ice cream gelato came about when we were asked by a local Bed & Breakfast if we would create a flavour that they could serve their customers at breakfast. We ripple our usual cream base gelato with homemade Seville orange marmalade, following a recipe that Annie has used for years, and stud it with toasted & candied chunks of sourdough bread.

Mango pudding gelato
An ode to Chinese New Year! The iconic mango pudding came out of Hong Kong dim sum restaurants and is now loved across the world. We've transformed this beloved dessert into silky gelato, blending luscious mango purée and lashings of coconut milk to capture the creamy, tropical flavour of the classic pudding. Although it took Annie months to perfect, this is now an absolute favourite of the production team.

Yoghurt & baklava gelato
This is a flavour that Annie's children have been asking for for such a long time: home-made yoghurt gelato sweetened with honey and studded with chunks of walnut baklava. The baklava is made by Baklavaty, a lovely Libyan family business based Somerset. They have brought their traditional family recipe to the UK, and using the best local ingredients, make the most delicious pastries.

Birthday Cake Gelato — 10 Year Anniversary Edition
Ten years of Baboo deserves a proper celebration, and Annie's gone all out for this one. Real homemade birthday cake — baked from scratch by Annie — blended right into our signature gelato base, then studded with generous chunks of cake and a flurry of rainbow sprinkles in every scoop.
It's nostalgic, joyful, and tastes exactly like the best bit of a birthday party (you know, the corner slice with extra icing).
