Our February Annie's Special is coming—and it's a tropical tribute to tradition

When the Lunar New Year arrives, we wanted to celebrate with something truly special. This month's Annie's Special is Mango Pudding Gelato, an ode to the iconic Hong Kong dessert that has captured hearts around the world.

The famous mango pudding came out of Hong Kong dim sum restaurants and has become a beloved finale to countless meals. We've transformed this classic into silky gelato, blending luscious mango purée and lashings of coconut milk to capture the creamy, tropical flavour of the original pudding.

"I first tried mango pudding years ago in Singapore," says Annie. "That wobble, that silky smoothness, the way the mango flavour just bursts on your tongue—I knew I had to find a way to recreate it in gelato form."

Although it took Annie months to perfect, this is now an absolute favourite of the production team. The result? A gelato that honours tradition while delivering that unmistakable Baboo quality.

This limited edition will be available for nationwide delivery and local delivery dropping on Tuesday, 17 February 2026 at 10am. As always, these are handmade in very small batches—so when they're gone, they're gone!
