Seasonal and delicious
Our flavours range from pure and simple such as chocolate gelato or raspberry sorbet, to carefully blended combinations such as salted caramel or maple with pralined walnuts. We are always experimenting with different ingredients in our search for intense and unique flavours which are quite simply unforgettable. And if there’s a flavour you’ve always dreamed of, run it by us and we’ll give it a go.
Since we make each batch by hand, this range is governed by our ability to get hold of ingredients in season. When we run out of Forde Abbey’s delicious strawberries we’re not going to buy cotton wool strawberries in December.
At our kiosks we have space for ten flavours, of which three are sorbets. We try to keep a core range of our most popular flavours as well as three or four seasonal flavours. We may have some off-the-wall flavours just because they’re absolutely delicious, so please do ask for a taste.
We have a range of sixteen flavours (ten gelato, six sorbets) available in 500ml tubs from an increasing number of West Country delicatessens and farm shops. Please see the ‘Buy Baboo’ page for their details.
